WE WILL BE TAKING PART IN MIDLOTHIAN DOORS OPEN DAY SATURDAY 11TH SEPTEMBER .
Doors open at the smiddy from 10am until 4pm.
Blacksmith Sean will be demonstrating the ancient craft in the newly restored forge building. Cousland Local History Project have prepared some new displays for the Heritage Hub in the cottage and the archive collection can be viewed.
Tea, coffee & home made soup lunches - and home baking, will be available in the tent in the paddock, along with raffles, produce & plant stall.
There is no entry charge. Parking at the smiddy plots is available for Blue Badge Holders only.
Social distancing guidelines will be observed and visitors numbers indoors regulated as required for the safety of all.
