Well what a wonderful Doors Open Day we had yesterday - welcoming over 100 visitors to the Smiddy & Hub. We had folks from all over, including one man who had taken the train & bike from Aberdeen for the day especially to come and see us! Well done sir!
Huge thanks go the the volunteers who helped on the day and beforehand. We certainly couldn't do it without you. Special mention for the guys who had to abandon putting up tents on Friday evening because of the forecast high winds, but turned up at 8am the next day to get everything in place.........and we made it by the skin of our teeth, the first visitors arriving bang on 10.00am. We did have a small 'tonic' at the end of the day - just to wind down you understand!
